Finally, Taxi Drivers, Boda Boda riders and the millions of young people in the informal sector can benefit from NSSF and social security services they offer. Proud to be part of this dream; social security shouldn’t be a preserve of only those who are formally employed. Now all Kenyans can make small contributions to their future welfare. Congrats NSSF Kenya , KCB Group and Safaricom PLC on today’s launch of this. Please now go out and inform the public, wrote Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja.

The NSSF largely known by those abbreviations but its best refered to as the national social security fund is a kenyan government agency responsible for the collection, safe keeping and investment of the retirement funds of employees participation of both the employees and employers is compulsory in Kenya.

Nssf is meant to assist employees assists in a number of ways , by being an active member of the agency one is able to receive benefits such as mortgage facilities, pension and even funeral grants this making nssf vital for both the formal and informal sectors.

The Nssf, social security fund agency indeed comes as a security foe many Kenyans wven though their are those that often scrutinise the agency, but just like the NHIF cover when that time of need comes ot sure does come on handy.

Presiding over the soft launch of NSSF “Haba Haba” product geared to engaging Boda and Digital Taxi drivers. The Nairobi senator , Johnson Sakaja explained to the crowd what this would mean for the informal sector.

Question is do you , our reader think this is the best way to go is the already available Nssf cover to the formal sector beneficial or rather add value?
