Jackie Matubia opens up about her childhood and rejection growing up.

Tahidi High former actress Jackie Matubia opened up about her difficult childhood recently in an interview with Massawe Japanni on Radio Jambo.

She discloded that  her parents separated and this led to her being rejected. She said that the separation really messed her up. As she used to move from one family to another. Before she settled down she was moved again.

My mum was married to my biological dad and then she had me. So the first time I had an issue with my marriage nikaenda nikamwambia. She was like ‘I hope history doesn’t repeat itself’…Mama na baba wali wachana and it really messed me up because nilikuwa namove-ishwa from one family to another, before you trust someone ushatolewa,” she said

She went ahead to explain that her mother remarried and the issue was being accepted in the new family.

Tatizo ilikuwa kuniaccept. Back in the day ukiolewa ukiwa na mtoto ilikuwa shida it’s not like today. It was really tough for me,” Matubia said.

She further stated that the rejection affected her, as she went into her marriage with unresolved issues.

Jacky Matubia and her husband met on Instagram and later got married. Although right now they are separated.

She said she would not use social media again to meet someone else in case she decided to date rather than work out her broken marriage.

She added the most important person was her daughter who, she said, needs even more attention following the separation.
