JKUAT Students Asked To Pick Their Belongings As Schools Set To Reopen January 2021

Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) students are advised by the institution to pick their belongings from residential halls latest August 28 2020.

This comes after Education CS Magoha rescheduled schools reopening dates to January 2021. In a notice posted on their social media pages, the student have a period of 12 days.

“You are required to collect all your belongings from the hostels between Monday, August 17  and Friday , August 28,” Said VC Robert Kinyua.

According to the VC, the decision was met after it was said learning institutions including universities will be used for preparatory operations.

The activities include re-arrangement of hostels facilities to accomadate a number of people and fumigation of rooms.

Students are reminded to adhere to government measures including social distancing, wearing masks and sanitizing.
