Kenya Railways Releases Nairobi Commuter Trains Schedule

The Kenya Railways has published the official timetable for the newly introduced Nairobi Commuter Trains.

The Diesel Multiple-Units (DMUs), Commuter Trains and Link Trains will run throughout the city on a set schedule across 5 premises in Nairobi and its surroundings.

The number of trains allocated per route was dependent on the total population of the areas concerned.

This follows the launch by President Uhuru Kenyatta of the Kenya Railway Corporation’s Commuter Rail Service.

Syokimau

6 trains will leave the Nairobi Central Station for Syokimau through the day.

Train 1
Leaves the station at 6:35 am
Arrives in Makadara at 6:47 am, departs at 6:49 a.m.
Arrives in Imara Daima at 6:57 am, departs at 6:59 am.
Arrives at Syokimau Terminus at 7:03 am.

Train 2
Leaves Nairobi Central Station at 8:00 am
Arrives in Makadara at 8:12 am, departs at 8:14 am.
Arrives in Imara Daima at 8:22 am, departs at 8:24 am.
Arrives at Syokimau Terminus at 8:39 am.

Train 3
Leaves Nairobi Central Station at 9:35 am
Arrives in Makadara at 9:47 am, departs at 9:49 am.
Arrives in Imara Daima at 9:57am, departs at 10:01 am
Arrives at Syokimau Terminus at 10:12 am

Train 4
Leaves Nairobi Central Station at 12:00 noon
Arrives in Makadara at 12:12 pm, departs at 12:14 am.
Arrives in Imara Daima at 12:22 pm, departs at 12:24 am.
Arrives at Syokimau Terminus at 12:35 pm.

Train 5
Leaves Nairobi Central Station at 5:30 pm
Arrives in Makadara at 5:42 pm, departs at 5:44 pm.
Arrives in Imara Daima at 5:56 pm, departs at 5:58 pm.
Arrives at Syokimau Terminus at 6:13 pm

Train 6
Leaves Nairobi Central Station at 6:20 pm
Arrives in Makadara at 6:32 pm, departs at 6:34 pm.
Arrives in Imara Daima at 6:42 pm, departs at 6:44 pm.
Arrives at Syokimau Terminus at 6:55 pm.
