Relief For Nairobi’s Eastlands Commuters As Railway Line Restored in Nairobi’s Eastlands Area

Commuters in Nairobi’s Eastlands area are relieved after Kenya Railways Service restored the rail service to the Central Business District(CBD).

The Embakasi, Pipeline and Donholm new railway station is part of the organization’s plans to make transport easier for the residents of the city.

Passengers will have a maximum of two minutes to get on or off the train according to the train program.

The train will operate in the mornings and evenings, leaving Embakasi Village at 7:05 a.m. for a 15-minute drive to the Pipeline Railway Station.

It will then leave Pipeline for Donholm Railway Station, arriving at 7.28 AM and leave for Makadara station two minutes later.

It will follow the same route in the evening, with the train leaving the city centre at 6 p.m. and stopping at Makadara at 6.15 p.m. for two minutes.

It will then leave for Donholm, where it arrives at 6:24 PM, and head to Pipeline, where it arrives at 6:32 PM. before ending its journey in Embakasi Village at exactly 6:49 PM.
