This year’s Miss Kenya took place over the weekend. It had a panel of seven judges and 16 Miss Kenya finalists, with three taking the main titles. Under Miss Kenya International, Eunice Atieno emerged the winner with Wendy Muimi and Edith Babu as the first and second runners-up.
Miss Kenya Grand International title was scooped by Elaine Mwangi and coming in second was Joan Ohono and third place, Amal Abdul. Miss Kenya Earth title was won by Linda Gatere with Diana Bwari and Nancy Njoki coming in as the first and second runners- up, respectively. The three title holders: Eunice Atieno, will represent Kenya in Miss International to be held in Tokyo, Japan on November 5.
Elaine Mwangi will represent Kenya at Miss Grand International to be held at Bankok, Thailand on October 25 while Linda Gatere will represent 254 at this year’s Miss Earth to be held in Vienna, Austria on December 5.
