High concern from the citizens is whether Kenya is able to control the coronavirus pandemic without infringing on human rights measures.

We all do understand that the government, through president Uhuru Kenyatta has given a public directive on combating COVID -19 but does it came at the expense of a young Kenyan life.

Since day one of enhancing COVID-19 curfew, more Kenyans have come out either through social media and other media channels blaming and condemning the police on their brutal manner of enhancing this directive.

Leaders from many parts of the country came out strongly condemning the method the police are using in curbing COVID-19 and ask them to act with restrain.

“Every law/directive is meant to cure particular mischief. The curfew is meant to curb the spread of COVID-19 and not to torture Kenyans. The security managers are behaving as though they have a grudge against Kenyans and are using COVID-19 as an excuse for revenge. It must stop forthwith,” Murkomen admonished.
