A 13-Year-Old Boy Hospitalised After Being Clawed By Stray Dogs

Antony Murimi, a 13-year-old boy in Embu is recovering in hospital after he was scratched by 8 stray dogs on his way home.

He was rushed and admitted at Embu Level 5 Teaching and Referral Hospital after the attack at Kiriari market in Embu North sub-county.

It is reported the boy was on his way home from an errand he was tasked by his parents. On further inquiry, it was said the boy tried to scare the dogs that had ambushed him but instead found himself in their wrath.

His school director, John Ireri at Upper Hill Njota school said the boy had multiple injuries on his head, hands and feet when he visited him at the hospital.
