A Restaurant In China Collapse, At Least 13 Reported Dead

A restaurant in northern China collapsed Saturday 29 August, and at least 13 people have been reported dead by the state media.

The storey building used for banquets collapsed in the morning in Xiangfen county Shanxi province, according a media broadcaster CGTN.

“So far, 43 people have been brought out including the dead and four seriously injured,” the report said.

According to CGTN, 700 people were involved in the rescue operation. The cause of the collapse is still not yet known but China is no stranger to building collapses and deadly constructions accidents.
