Diego Simeone’s men were bundled out of the Champions League after suffering a defeat from RB Leipzig.
In last night match, Atletico Madrid was beaten 2-1 that saw them exit the most coveted competition. RB Leipzig found the back of their opponents net through Dani Olmo barely 51 minutes into the game.
Atletico equalized through a penalty converted by Joao Felix in the 71 minute but RB Leipzig sealed their victory through Tyler Adams in the 80th minute. RB Leipzig and PSG have qualified for the semi finals.
The German outfit which was founded in 2009 barely 11 years ago were promoted to Bundesliga in 2016 after playing in the division leagues previous years.
RB Leipzig qualified for the UEFA Champions League in 2017 one of the historic moment ever portrayed by the German outfit.
