A new show is due to hit the airwaves starting this Sunday on 19th July around 2 p.m. The show was created by filmmaker Eugene Mbugua in collaboration with the Kenya Film Commission, ‘Concert Nyumbani’ and reportedly will be the biggest entertainment event on Kenyan TVs.
The hosts of the show will be the Tiktok sensation Azziad Nasenya co-hosting alongside Mwaniki Mwageria.
The show is about to hit 9 different TV stations; KTN, NTV, K24 TV, KBC, Switch TV, Metropol TV, Y24, TV47, and PPP TV all across the country.
“I called together a team of some of the most talented people in Kenya to work on a documentary and musical show celebrating heroes who’ve emerged from the Corona pandemic. Concert Nyumbani, the biggest entertainment television event ever on Kenyan TV will air this Sunday.
“The first episode of the show will have performances by; Sitawa Namwalie, @mumbipoetry, @Jaaziyah, @bensoulmusic and @h_arttheband,” wrote Eugene Mbugua.
Concert Nyumbani is both a documentary and musical show celebrating heroes who’ve emerged from the Corona pandemic. It is produced by Documentary & Reality Television Limited and directed by Mbugua, Enos Olik and Kayt Kioko of Kipenz Films.
