Babu owino, Embakasi East member of parliament has come out on social media asking God and Kenyans for forgiveness citing he is a sinner.
On his Instagram page, Babu owino is seen kneeling down in church as prayers are being conducted.
“God I’m a sinner may you forgive me of my sins,” posted Babu.
The controversial legislator has been facing backlash from social platforms over his past activities that led to him quitting alcohol and drug substances like sheesh.
On his social platform, he noted he is on his way to self rediscovering and reformation a reason he quit taking alcohol.
“I’ve reached a turning point and I have decided to make a change that I am proud of. A change, that my family is proud of. Being an MP is not the most important thing, the most important thing is who I am as a person. That’s why it has been six months and nine days since I touched alcohol. I regularly pray and fellowship with my wife (Fridah), who has fellowship groups and I am looking inwards to become a better person,” said Babu.
