Betty Kyalo’s househelp speaks out

Betty Kyallo exposed her nanny for allegedly stealing from her despite the TV anchor paying her KSh 18,000 per month.

The woman identified as Consolata Wawira revealed how the media personality is an absentee mum in her daughter’s life. She revealed that Betty always left home on Friday nights and came back the following week on Wednesday.

She also went ahead and said that Betty did not provide food and basic needs in the house. Kawira  defended herself from her employer’s allegations.

She said she was paid Ksh, 14000 at the beginning and was later raised to Ksh, 18000. Kawira has been working for Betty Kyalo since May 2019 till February 4th when Betty decided to terminate her contract.

In an  interview with a local blog, Wawira denied stealing from Betty claiming she and the TV personality daughter were always left without food in the house.

She also claimed that she used to work everyday and had no off days.  She added that Betty fired her without pay and service fee. She claimed Betty had not paid her December 2019 salary in full and was left with her balance of KSh 3,000.

She added that she used to take care of Ivanna by herself and struggled with her. She took her to school and for therapy.
