Gladys Boss Shollei is the former Chief Registrar of the Judiciary, a career advocate with nearly 20 years of experience and a Certified Public Secretary (CPS). She, Gladys Boss Shollei is the current women representative for Uasin Gishu County. She was sacked as the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary on the grounds of misappropriation of funds, insubordination, incompetence and engaging in sideshows.

In a candid interview with radio host Massawe Japani, Shollei blamed peer pressure for misleading her from pursuing her ambition of becoming an accomplished marathoner. She ended up studying law which she said was not her passion. “I am an athlete since my hey days. I have participated in Lewa Marathon. I regret not pursuing my dreams of being an athlete during my school days; because I was a very good runner. But I blame this on peer pressure,” Shollei revealed.

For the Uasin Gishu County Women Representative, the divorce case is something that had been kept under wraps as she actively pursued it in court. She has finally divorced her husband. The former Standard Group Managing Director, Mr. Sam Shollei.

In a ruling delivered early last week in Nairobi, MP Gladys Shollei has been given a favourable ruling allowing her to keep the urban home in Kitisuru Estate Nairobi and the matrimonial farm in Uasin Gishu.

The ruling is said to have been a big relief to the MP who previously obtained orders barring her husband Sam Shollei from her matrimonial home after he eloped with a junior employee at Standard Group, Faith Rono.
