In a family of many siblings, there are always wrangles and fights among the brothers and sisters especially from the elder one to the younger ones depending on the upbringing. In Butere a 15-year-old boy has beaten his young brother over stolen maize leaving the ten-year-old dead.
Sources have it that the brother stole maize and sold it to the neighbours for fifty Kenyan shillings. The ten-year-old went missing after reports had it that he stole the maize but when he came back, the older brother jumped on him with kicks and blows at their home in Butere.
The police are holding the older brother Emmanuel Okwako, who is 15 years old in custody at Butere police station for investigation after finding the body of the younger brother lying dead in their parents home.
