CEC For Finance and Economic Planning Ibrahim Barrow Hassan is Dead

The County Government of Mandera is mourning the death of Ibrahim Barrow Hassan who until his death was the CEC for Finance and Economic Planning.

Mandera Governor Ali Roba revealed  Barrow had died of Covid-19, terming him as a committed leader who has served the county for eight and a half years.

“Barrow was a discipline and dedicated staff who transformed financial management at the county with a very special commitment to deliver results,” Roba posted via on Facebook.

The governor at the same time reminded the locals and Kenyans at large to treat the Covid-19 pandemic with the seriousness it deserves and adhere to the Ministry of Health guidelines.

Covid-19 has killed 2.67 million people, 1,925 of them in Kenya, which has recorded 115,000 cases since March last year.
