Covid19: Netflix series “My Secret Terrius” might have predicted the pandemic

A lot of movie viewers  have been shocked by a Korean series “My Secret Terrius” which appeared to predict the COVID19  pandemic back in 2018.

My Secret Terrius is a Korean series about, a secret service agent who detaches himself from the world after a failed operation tried to unravel the mystery behind a neighbour’s death.

The series, which stars So Ji-sub, Jung In-sun, Son Ho-jun and Im Se-mi.

The series started trending online this week as fans felt it predicted the Coronavirus pandemic. Netflix subscribers spotted a scene in episode 10. The episode shows a coronavirus being mutated to be used as a weapon, with a doctor are  desperate to find a cure for.

Episode 10 of the series in the 53rd-minute exactly two of the cast could be seen talking about a modified version of the Coronavirus which is now set to eliminate 90% of the world’s population and attacks a person’s lung within 5 minutes before doing its damage.

The two are seen having a conversation as follows;

‘Someone tweaked it to increase the mortality rate to 90%,’ she’s shown saying, after comparing coronavirus to MERS.

‘What’s more serious,’ she adds, ‘is that the coronavirus has an incubation period of two to 14 days.

‘The virus was manipulated to attack the lungs directly within just five minutes of being exposed.’

Fans took to twitter to discuss it. Here are some of the tweets;

‘In the drama My Secret Terrius that was released in 2018 (UNIQ’s sungjoo was among the cast) they talked in details about the corona virus…. I had goosebumps…,’ one viewer wrote.

Another added: ‘Just gonna leave this here but i am massively spooked. This series My Secret Terrius is on netflix but came out 2 years ago and talks about the coronavirus we’re going through rn…’

‘That scene in My Secret Terrius on Netflix about Coronavirus is scary…’ one more said.

Some were not bothered at all. One fan wrote;

‘Everyone freaking out about #mysecretterrius knowing about the Corona virus … but you guys realise we didn’t discovered just now… that some Corona Viruses types cause SARS, MERS, and even some common cold strains. Chill…’
