Danson Mungatana the former Garsen member of parliament and his accomplice paul Waweru have been released on a 200,000 shillings cash bail.
The two were arrested on allegation of fraud; by obtaining 1million Kenya shillings so as to offer a tender deal of 70million.
They were released on a 200 thousand shillings cash bail in Kibera courts on a demand to return to court on Wednesday.
After probing by the DCI its believed that Mungatana posed as someone working in top security agencies and promised to deliver cereals and building material.
The two appeared before Judge Abdulkadir Lorot who is set to make a ruling in their forgery and obtaining money by false pretense on Wednesday.
