The purge that President Uhuru Kenyatta began has been downplayed by Deputy President William Ruto asking those affected not to harbour grudge but work in harmony with the newly appointed leaders.
Initially in his twitter handle, the Deputy President cited the leadership changes was a headhunt of persons allied to him and his presidential ambition.
The deputy president quoting from the Bible asked the ousted members to work together. He noted;
“With the changes in Parliamentary leadership including committee membership & leadership now concluded, I urge all MPs NOT to be divided but work TOGETHER in serving the PEOPLE. Col.3:23, Whatever you do,work at it with all your heart, as working for God,not human masters, ”
Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta’s allies have dominated the positions initially occupied by Ruto die-hards.
