Dp Ruto de-linked from the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal by DPP Noordin Haji

Late July last year , the deputy president William Ruto was caught in Kimwarer and Arror dams saga which has continued hitting the headlines.There were a lot of suspects from various government department implicated in the multi-billion scandal. The construction of the two projects which was highly regarded to profit the nation hit the rock when it was reported that almost 21 billion shillings was lost.The DCI Kinoti and DPP Noordin Haji took to investigate the case.

On Sunday night 7th June, the DPP told K24 news that the Deputy president is in no way linked to the scandal . He further says Kimwarer and Arror dams were a national project and wrongly handled leading to the loss of billions of money. He also said the former Treasury CS Henry Rotich is not the DP’s ally as it was earlier claimed rather he was appointed by the President himself.

The DPP also added that the Kimwarer and Arror dam case were among other cases against governors and state agencies under high profile cases his office has been investigating.
