There was drama yesterday night as alleged the DCI raided the home of Bomet Senator Christopher Langat.
The police camped outside Senator Langat’s house from 8pm yesterday as he declined to leave his house to be arrested.
He questioned the police why they never arrested him during the day stating he was at home the whole day. He told the police to allow him spend the night at his house and get arrested during the day.
Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen had earlier claimed Senators were being arrested at their homes for not supporting Commission Revenue Allocation (CRA) revenue sharing formula.
The police are also said to have raided Senator Malalal’s home last night. This forced other Senators to come out and pack outside their fellow senators home in Solidarity.
