Facebook Deletes Trump’s Post Citing COVID-19 Misinformation

Facebook has deleted a post of Donald Trump for the first time citing violation of its policy  against spreading wrong information about Corona virus.

The deleted post featured a link to a Fox News video and Trump could be saying children are “virtually immune” to the virus.

Facebook said;

“Video includes false claims that a group of people are immune from COVID-19 which is a violation of our policies around harmful COVID misinformation.”

It is claimed to be the first time Facebook has removed a post from Trump rather than ‘labeling it’ like it has done in the past.

Several studies indicate but don’t prove that children are less likely to become infected than adults and more likely to have only mild symptoms which is totally different from “virtually immune” to the virus.
