Detectives from the DCI have recovered goods worth around Ksh.29M stolen from a warehouse off Mombasa Road.

Detectives from the special service unit relying on intelligence trailed suspects to a homestead in Utawala on Wednesday where the goods had been stashed.

The goods which include drills and grinders are believed to have been stolen from a Godown along Maasai Road off Mombasa Road in Embakasi on 17 May 2020.

Six suspects: Castrol Musyoka, Dishon Wanjohi, Silvester Makori, Patrick Maina, John Kimani and Jackson Njeru were nabbed while loading the stolen goods onto a lorry.

The suspects are believed to have been colluding with Godown workers in the theft of property worth millions of shillings.

The same gang is believed to be behind godown breakings at Athi River, Embakasi, Ruiru, Industrial area and Mlolongo.
