Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko earlier today apologized to General Badi for talking ill against him.

The two resolved their feud after being encouraged by the president to bury their differences as it will jeopardize service delivery in the city.

He said this speaking at a function held at KICC when handing over title deeds to Nairobi residents.

General Badi is not a politician. I assigned him to head NMS and once he accomplishes his task at the County he will go back to the military and continue protecting our citizens,” said the President.

Sonko agreed to put behind their issues and apologized for things he had said about him.

“The president and I have spoken and I have heard what he had to say and i agree that as governor the County is more important than politics, Ii am sorry to my brother Badi for saying bad things about him and i will work with him to deliver development to the people of Nairobi” said Sonko.

Badi echoed Sonko’s words and agreed to work together with him. He went ahead and said they could now work together to ensure Nairobi residents enjoyed their services.

“I will work together with the governor because we have resolved any differences between the Nairobi Metropolitan Services and the Governors team. I want to thank him because now we can work to ensure that Nairobi residents have services brought closer to them,” said NMS D-G Badi.
