Huruma MCA Peter Chomba Dies

Huruma Member of County Assembly, Peter Chomba, who was serving his second term as MCA for Huruma Ward has unfortunately passed away.

Mr. Chomba is alleged to have been rushed to hospital today, Saturday October 10, after he developed some chest complications due to an accident he had one week earlier, after he fell in his bathroom and got some injuries.

The MCA has been recognized by leaders from Uasin Gishu county for his commendable service and development in the county. Peter Chomba has been described as a man who worked hard towards ensuring his constituents received the best services from the county assembly.

In a press briefing held in Eldoret Town, the  Deputy Speaker, Mr. Hosea Lamai, Uasin Gishu County, narrated what Mr. Chomba said when he called him after he fell in the bathroom.

“Lamai, nilipoingia bathroom, zile mat za bathroom zilikuwa zimebadilishwa na nilikuwa na zingine ambazo nilikuwa nimeleta kutoka Marekani, na kwa muda nikaitoa na nimeteleza kidogo katika bathroom na nimeumia lakini nimeenda kwa matibabu na sio mbaya niko vizuri kidogo,” reported the Deputy Speaker.

Mr. Hosea Lamai sympathized with the Huruma representatives and residents saying they had lost a strong leader.

Kapseret MP, Oscar Sudi, was also among the leaders in attendance in the press briefing eulogizing the Late MCA.
