Is it racism or a joke? Lil Duval comment on Stivo Simple Boy

Roland Powell, better known by his stage name Lil Duval, is an American stand-up comedian and recording artist. In 2005, he was a finalist on BET’s comedy competition series Coming to the Stage. Powell is a series regular to the MTV2 shows Guy Code and Hip Hop Squares.

Lil Duval is in trouble  for racist comment.He posted a picture of Kenyan rapper Stivo Simple Boy with a caption that offended many Kenyans.

In the post Lil Duval compared Stivo Simple boy’s face to that of a black face emoji.

“If 🌚 was a person,” wrote Lil Duval

This did not seat well with many Kenyans . Kenyans immediately came to Stivo simple Boy’s defense.

“Sijui tuichukuliaje hii ? But Stivo to the world is the damn thing, comedian MCA Tricky commented.

“And ya think ths is funny?” Catekaddy asked.

Lil Duval this is not funny at all! May you have kids one day that we could use as memes too nkt,” added Namba Nane’s greatest musical export Octopizzo.

Stivo simple boy has previously opened up about bullying. He said people have always bullied him because of his looks. He however said that he has come to terms with it and whatever people say to him does not affect him.
