Jeffrey Preston Bezos is an American internet entrepreneur, industrialist, media proprietor, and investor. He is best known as the founder, CEO, and president of the multi-national technology company Amazon.
By Midday Wednesday he became the world’s first person ever to hit a net worth of over 200 billion USD, 78 billion richer than Bill gates. Amazon’s share price had climbed 2.3% to $3,423 per share — helping push Bezos past the $200 billion threshold in the process.
The growth in Bezos’ fortune has been contributed by his holdings in an online store Amazon, which has been doing big business during this pandemic times.
Research shows Jeff Bezzos might become the first Trillionaire by 2026. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was also dubbed a “centibillionaire” as his wealth surpassed $100 billion.
