Katy Perry and Orlando welcome their first child

Award winning singer Katy Perry and her fiance Orlando Bloom have welcomed their first child together. Their daughter is named Daisy Dove Bloom.

This makes the first child to Katy Perry and the second child to Bloom as he has a son from his previous relationship who is 9 years old.

The two got engaged in February of this year and announced their pregnancy to the world in March.

They told UNICEF;

“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” they said in a statement.

“But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was,” they added.

In “celebration of the heart we know our daughter already has,” Katy and Orlando established a UNICEF donation page on baby Daisy’s—or “DDB” they added.
