Footballer Kevin Opiyo Oliech, will be buried on Saturday at his rural home in Seme, Kisumu County.
Kevin who is the younger brother to footballer Dennis Oliech, was diagnosed with cancer and passed away on August 16, 2020, in Berlin, Germany while receiving treatment. This is just a year after he visited Kenya from Germany and revealed to friends he had cancer.
His body will be flown in from Germany on September 2, 2020, and is expected to arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on September 3, 2020.
The body will be preserved at Umash Funeral Home in Nairobi. This is the same place Kevin’s late mother was taken before her burial back in July 2018.
On Friday, Kevin’s body will be taken to Seme, his rural home for final rites. On Saturday, Kevin’s body will be laid to rest.
