Kenyan singer King Kaka also known as Kaka Sungura on Friday, December 13th released a song “wajinga nyinyi” that went viral and stirred up reactions from different kenyans.
The song ‘wajinga nyinyi’ which calls out kenyan leaders. In the song, Kaka attacks the Women Representatives, accusing them of stealing money for buying sanitary pads for young school girls.
This led to Wajir women representative Fatuma Gedi slamming the singer of being paid to produce the song by individuals, who allegedly won tender to supply sanitary pads.
She was barked up by Nairobi women representative, Esther Passaris.
“He has no idea that we do not control the sanitary towels budget, we only aided the distribution (not all counties received) with the county Commissioners office and all the area chiefs. We as women reps have also been following up sanitary towels with the current line Ministry Education,” Passaris tweeted.
Wajinga nyinyi have garnered over 100,000 views on YouTube with Kenyans on social media praising the singer for being brave and telling the truth.
In the Song, the singer mentioned a number of problems faced by Kenyans and pointed out the cause and the people whom he thought were behind their suffering.
The singer blamed Kenyans for the problems they are undergoing saying they play a role in their own downfall by electing the wrong leaders.

On Wednesday evening, the musician took to Instagram and wrote that he was going to pull down the video until a number of issues were addressed.
