The Law Society of Kenya chairman Mr. Havi’s sentiment followed after the chief Justice David Maraga publicly accused President Uhuru Kenyatta for violating law and the near paralysis of court operations for not appointing the 41 judges he was presented with. However president Uhuru claimed that some of the judges had dubious probity but failed to defend his claims with evidence.
He said he will entreat Parliament to have the president impeached. He vowed to do so due to the continuous violation of court orders and the constitution.
“We will petition the National Assembly and Senate to initiate proceedings for the impeachment of the president of the republic of Kenya for failing to perform his duties under the constitution,” said Havi.
The LSK chairman Mr.Havi also took it to urge Kenyans on his Twitter account to support the CJ David Maraga following the claims he had made publicly to the nation about the president.
