Manchester City Pays Tribute To Its Malawian Born Player Aged 17

Manchester City football club has recently paid tribute to one of its youngster players who recently passed away. The player who is Malawian nationalist, was aged 17 and known as Jeremy Wisten.

“The Manchester City family are saddened to learn of the passing of former Academy player Jeremy Wisten. We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.” Tweeted Manchester City.

It is still not clear as to what led to the untimely death of the young football player as the family is yet to release a statement on the same. Other clubs have also sent out their condolences including players.
The youngster made multiple appearances for City’s Select and Elite Academy squad’s. Wisten had high hopes for his City career and had ambitions of emulating club legend Vincent Kompany. May his soul Rest In Peace .
