Manchester City’s full back Kyle Walker will be fined 250k Pounds for breaking the Coronavirus lockdown rule.
Walker ignored UK government’s directive on lockdown, and instead invited two escorts to his flat for a ‘three-hour sex party” with his friend as reported by the Sun.
Escort Louse 21, said she arrived in a taxi at 10.30PM, the day before walker pleaded with everyone to stay home in a video.
Funny enough, walker went ahead and posted another video asking fans to stay home after the party went down.
“Don’t forget to stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives.” said Kyle walker on his instagram page.
Well, this didn’t go well with Manchester City who later responded. They said;
“Kyle’s actions in this matter have directly contravened efforts of containing COVID-19. We are disappointed to hear the allegations, note Kyle’s swift statement and apology, and will be conducting an internal disciplinary procedure.”
According to the Mirror, the internal disciplinary action has already been taken with Man City expected to fine Kyle Walker a whooping 250k pounds.
It’s important to note that Walker had earlier on released an apology statement.
“I understand that my position as a professional footballer brings the responsibility of being a role model. As such, I want to apologise to my family, friends, football club, supporters and the public for letting them down.” He said.
Walker earns about 110k pounds. This fine would probably affect two weeks of his earning.
