How Africans Reacted To Scientist Who Want to Try Corona Virus Vaccine In Africa Soil First

Africans have been angered by two scientist who have been trying to find the cure for the Corona virus.

The two scientist thought that they had found a vaccine which they have identified the BCG vaccine – used against tuberculosis as a panacea to curtail the illness that has killed so many people across the globe.

Jean-Paul Mira, the head of the intensive care department at the Cochin Hospital in Paris said

“If I can be provocative, shouldn’t we do this study in Africa where there are no masks, no treatment, no intensive care? A bit like we did in some studies on AIDS.

We tried things on prostitutes because they are highly exposed and do not protect themselves.”

To which the other scientist Dr. Camille  joined the conversation saying,

“So you are right, we’re thinking of parallel study in Africa to use this same kind of approach with the BCG (vaccine) placebo. We think seriously about that”.

Eto’o, football player then took to Instagram to share a video he tagged with the caption, “Africa is not your playing ground,” Other celebrities and a lot of Africans have had their say on the same but it all backs down to we are no ones Guinea Pigs.

The virus has proved threatening after infecting a total of 1,030,654 people in the world and claiming lives of 54,231 people. Only 21.35% of those affected have recovered.
