Emurua Dikirr MP, Johanna Ng’eno has been set free on sh 1 million cash bail with an alternative of sh 2 million bond.
He was charged for using vulgar language that was said to likely create ethnic hatred. He however denied committing the crimes before the magistrate.
Report reaching us suggests the magistrate rejected an application done by the prosecution to object the MP’s release on bond claiming he was not a flight risk.
She also stated the MP could not interfere with the witnesses as the latter were police officers and officials at Communication Authority of Kenya.
