Nairobi CCTV Captures Woman Fighting Street Families [VIDEO]

CCTV footage recorded a woman fighting against street families in Nairobi.

The event took place at around 8.45 p.m. as the woman walked along the lane between Luthuli Avenue and Gaberone Road when she was confronted.

One of the attackers could be seen confronting her as the other watched. Bystanders  briefly witnessed the chaos as they continued with their own businesses.

John Kimani, a business owner along the street, clarified that such occurrences were very common in the area.

“This occurs almost on a daily basis. They make the lives of passersby hell. Of late they are violently robbing wananchi in the evening,” he explained.

Kimani revealed that the street families let the woman go after they manhandled her.

The most recent crime report in Nairobi classified muggings as the most frequent crimes registered in the area, with robbery, burglary and breaks occurring in the second and third positions, respectively.
