During the burial of Gabriel Maina, a man who died during demolitions in Mukuru Kwa Njenga estate Nairobi, governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko compared The Nairobi Metropolitan boss to the late Saddam Husein.
The governor said he was in pain as he addressed mourners with a direct message to General Badi not to continue hurting the people of Nairobi as he promised to make sure the deceased family will be compensated.
The rift between the two leaders has taken another turn triggered with the current demolition that has left one person dead and 5000 people displaced.
Sonko has vowed to fight heartless corrupt individuals in and outside government.
