The Nairobi Metropolitan Service that had been tasked with offering services to the Nairobi county residents has come under heavy critiscim after the Board Chairman At Mbagathi Hospital was accused of taking advantage over nurses in the hospital.
According to twitter reports, the board member has been reported to give promotions to nurses who bow down to his sexual desires. It was also said that he had threatened to fire the nurses if they failed to satisfy his sexual desires. This are all reports coming from tweeps on Twitter.
Milicent Omanga, a senator, was quick to talk of the subject stating, “This headline is sad. It wreaks of patheticness. What’s happening at Mbagathi hospital should get everyone angry. George Osewe is sexually harassing nurses in his attempt to be boss. Has NMS failed yet again in it’s mandate?”
Kenyans took to twitter under the #mbagathisexualabuse where they were quick to Label both NMS and the hospital leaders incompetent. The nurses had been complaining over lack of training on handling the Covid 19 as they also lacked enough facial masks.
