Owago Onyiro and Robert Alai at war over Churchill

Daniel Ndambuki aka Churchill has been accused of failing to pay his Comedians since November 2019.

Blogger Robert Alai twitted calling him out for not paying his comedians.

“Anyone who talks to Dan Ndambuki aka Churchill, tell him to pay the comedians. NTV has fully paid him, but because he lives a careless debt with poor financial management, comedians who provide him with content have not been paid since November 2019.

Jalango later hosted a show with Owago where Owago was cooking fish and asked Owago his opinion on the claims.

This is what Owago had to say;

“Comedians depend on Churchill too much…amekupatia platform.” The Peptang brand ambassador went on to add a great analogy stating “when you were going to school your father used to give you pocket money, that is what Churchill is giving us. He cannot be giving you plus salary.” He advised artists, to use the opportunities given on Churchill Live to build their brands and grow themselves.

This did not seat well with Alai as he felt like Owago was defending Churchill. He also added that Churchill does not have content on his own and the comedians contribute to his content. He went ahead and tweeted;

“Jalango decided to insult struggling comedians who provide Churchill with content through that fool called Owago. Boss, Churchill has no content for his show so he depends on the comedians being insulted. Ask Churchill to do one episode of his show alone we see. Pay comedians,” reads Alai’s tweet.

Owago responded on mother’s day to Alai’s claims on Instagram and wrote;

“Hahaaaaaaaaaa thank you @robertalai for calling someone’s son a fool during his Mothers Day. God will make me wise one day. Once more thank you
