Prank Gone Wrong: YouTubers Face Law After Bank Robbery Pranks

Two YouTubers, Alex and Alan who are popularly known as Stokes twins are now facing the law after being charged with bank robbery.

The two who garner millions of view in their YouTube pranks channel were charged in connection to an incident that lead to an uber driver being held at gun point.

According to E-News, the Orange County District Attorney’s office announced on Wednesday 5 August that the 23-year-old twins were each being charged with one; felony count false imprisonment effected by violence, menace, fraud and the other demeanour count of falsely reporting an emergency in connection with October15,2019 pranks.

It is said the two were dressed in all black, wearing ski masks and carrying duffle bags full of cash, pretended to have robbed a bank and requested an uber.

The uber driver who was unaware of the prank is claimed to have refused driving them.
