Raila And Uhuru To Meet MP’s At Naivasha To Pave Way For The Million Signatures

Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta are expected to meet with pro-BBI members of parliament at Naivasha today. They include some of the senate members and some members from the National Assembly who are set to breakdown the BBI report contents.

The report is soon to be debated on in Parliament and the retreats will also serve to enlighten the participants of the contents in the BBI. It is believed that today’s retreat will be key in the collection of the million signatures required to spearhead the referendum before the 2022 election year.

MP’s allied to Ruto are opposed to the BBI report asking for some amendment in the report together with those who are under Mudavadi’s ANC. According to the National Assembly Majority leader Amos Kimunya, he stated that even MP’s supporting Ruto will be present if they want to as its an all-inclusive event.
