The arrest of Senator Malala has stirred reactions in Mumias town, Kakamega county. Malala was arrested at his home in Kitengela and driven to Mumias. He later spent the night in police custody.
The town woke up to angry youths who were chanting “No Malala no peace”. They lit the streets with burning tyres. See below video.
