Sho Madjozi who’s real name is Maya Christinah Xichavo Wegerif has been making really big hits since the release of her song John Cena which did really well.
The South African singer had been nominated for the Kids Choice Awards on Nickelodeon.
She had been nominated against other artists like Teni (nigeria), Shekinah (South Africa) and Patricia kihoro (Kenya). The previous winner of this award was Ghanas very own Stonebwoy.
She won the award and she took to her social media to thank her fans and all those who supported her.
“I owe so much of my come up to Ph Raw x, Dj Dimples, Dj Fresh, Chris Martin, OKmalumkoolkat, Tsonga people worldwide, Dj Maphorisa, the streets of Braamfontein, instagram, my mom’s church, kids, hairbraiders worldwide and more. Thank you so much,” she tweeted.
On a live show dubbed ‘TshishaLive’ she warned the whole world that Africa is coming for them. “Our job is to work, move forward and never reverse. Nickelodeon thank you for this amazing award and to everyone that voted. I am so excited! World, we have one message for you, Africa is coming and we are coming for you,”
Even with her controversial looks, she has been quick to win the hearts of many.
