The continued fight for survival of Jerry Collins’ orphaned baby daughter of former All Black Captain Jerry Collins has prompted hundreds of New Zealanders to donate more than $46,000 towards her care via an online fundraiser, which has been extended for another three months.
Ayla now nearly 4-months-old – will most likely need medical treatment for the rest of her life as a result of the car crash,that killed both her parents in France last month. Well that’s according to the doctors but I think and believe she will be just fine.
In a statement released on behalf of the Collins and Madill families, family spokesman Tim Castle said Ayla was now safely in Canada with Madill’s parents. The legend lives on
