A kisumu Businessman who went missing on September 30, has finally been found today dead at the beach along lake victoria.
According to reports, the body of Thomas Ochieng was recovered by a coast guard who was on duty.
It is also said the death incident might have happened in the past days, as it took the forensic team up to four hours to identify the body of the businessman.
“The county commander I talked to said he was found at Lwang’ni Beach by the coast guard. They could not immediately identify the body because it had decomposed. It took them 3 to 4 hours to identify the body, said the Kisumu Residents Association Chairman, Audi Ogada.
The deceased is said to have set a hotel at the popular Dunga beach and also ran a popular Casablanca night club on the same beach.
The body was transferred to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Referral Hospital in Kisumu.
