Three years before his second and final presidential term expires, Uhuru Mugai Kenyatta the 4th president of the republic of Kenya has opted to take a political tour at his backyard central Kenya.

As he is well known as the kingpin of central Kenya his deputy president Arap Samoei Ruto has focused on building loyalty and followers in the region.

Uhuru Kenyatta president of kenyaLeaving the region split with two political groups, the TangaTanga and Kieleweke, one supporting the deputy president while the latter supporting the president awaiting political direction.

The president recently visited Nakuru, Nyandarua , Kirinyaga and Meru county launching development projects like; road construction in Nyandarua county; launch of new KCC milk plant in Meru county.

Mount Kenya residents supported his bid to visit the region more often while on developmental projects and programs.

During his tour in central Kenya he neutralized his opponent Mwangi Kiunjuri for always tarnishing his name and abusing him.

While salvaging his political legacy at his backyard he told the people of Mount Kenya that he is no longer sending anybody to deliver his messages or project but he will be doing it himself.

Assuring them the fight on corruption is on and nothing is going to stop the BBI agenda to unite the people of Kenya.

As the rift in central Kenya rises, questions are being asked by Kenyans.

Is the president making a political arrest laying ground for Raila Odinga as the BBI campaign heads to central kenya?
