Trump has been using the drugs hydroxychloroquine against the better judgement of the FDA and this has disturbed a few people including Trevor Noah. But he seemed equally appalled Tuesday night at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s reaction to that news.
“I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists,” Pelosi said on CNN this week, “especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group, morbidly obese, they say. So I think it’s not a good idea.”
Trevor Noah took to his handle on social media where he played the clip of Nancy Talking about the president before he put his head in his hands and saying, ‘Oh no Nancy, Morbidly obese? Shots fired’ Then he started mocking the way Nancy Pelosi had started the whole statement diplomatically then finished the statement by body shaming the president.
Trevor Noah said that body shaming the president was like body shaming everyone out their who might feel insecure of their own bodies. The he added to it saying, “So please, just remember: Trump’s not an asshole because of what goes into his mouth,” he said. “He’s an asshole because of what comes out of it.”
