US President Promises To Remove Sudan From State Sponsors Of Terrorism List If They Give Tanzania And Kenya $36.4 Billion

The president of the United States of America, Donald Trump has come out to claim that he will remove Sudan from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list of the country will deposit $36.4 billion to act as compensation for the 1998 terror attack.

According to a tweet posted from the account of Trump, he claimed that by doing so it will be a great step for Sudan and justice for Americans.

“Great news! New government of Sudan, which is making great progress, agreed to pay Sh 36.4 billion to U.S. terror victims and families. Once deposited, I will lift Sudan from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list. At long last, justice for the American people and big step for Sudan!”

Sudan had been added to the list since 1993 after they were suspected to be helping terrorist groups making it ineligible for debt relief and financial assistance from the IMF.
