Water CS Sicily Kariuki’s Daughter Is Dead.

Water,Sanitation and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki’s daughter, Wendy Muthoni has passed away. Wendy, a second year student at JKUAT, Karen campus died on Sunday July 19 at a Nairobi Hospital.

The cause of her death was not immediately clear. In a statement from State House, the President also mourned her death as he sent his condolences to the family during this difficult times.

“President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of comfort to the family of Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki following the passing of her daughter Wendy Muthoni today at a Nairobi hospital,” read the ststement

The Deputy President on his twitter handle also acclaimed Sicily’s daughter as an honest and diligent lass who will be fondly remembered for her goodwill.

“Our sympathy and prayers to the cabinet secretary for water,sanitation and irrigation Sicily Kariuki, following the death of her precious daughter Wendy Muthoni ‘Noni’,” wrote Ruto.

Kenyans have also taken to social media to express their heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased.
