Why Dennis Itumbi was fired?

Digital strategist Dennis Itumbi is one of five officers at the Presidential Service Communications Unit who has lost his job.

On Wednesday, the government released a statement informing Kenyans that it had scrapped his position of senior digital director and those of four others.

The four other state officials -James Kinyua, David Nzioka, Erick Ng’eno, and John Ndolo were also sacked.

A source has informed that all the five individuals have been ordered to return government properties in their possession, including official badges.

However, the five individuals have not been reporting to State House for quite some time now and the decision by PSC to scrap their positions is the official confirmation that their time is really up.

Unfortunately, the job loss comes as he celebrates his birthday.

This might not have come as a surprise to Itumbi who was kicked out of the main dais at the Bomas of Kenya during the launch of the BBI taskforce report in November last year.

He now only  describes  himself as a pig farmer.
